Crystal is a passionate environmentalist and firm believer in energy conservation. She finds it inspiring to help businesses conserve energy, knowing that lower energy consumption means less use of fossil fuels and a lower need for increased renewables.
Crystal describes herself as adventurous, compassionate, curious, and driven. These qualifies led her to attain a B.S. in environmental science-geology from the University of St. Thomas. She is working toward an M.S. in science, technology and environmental policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota. Along the way, she spent a semester in Costa Rica studying sustainability.
As an energy analyst at Energy Insight, Crystal helps customers identify energy-saving opportunities in their businesses. She enjoys time spent in the field and on site visits, visiting with people who share her passion for conservation. When she’s not at work, Crystal loves the outdoors and visiting her favorite places: parks, concerts, and local breweries. If you want to talk energy-savings over a cold brew, she might be up for the challenge.
