Helping to make the world a more sustainable place inspires Megan in her work as an associate energy engineer at Energy Insight. She enjoys working with rebates and educating customers not only on what they can do to get money back now but on how sustainable choices can save money and energy in the future.
Megan is a University of Minnesota Duluth graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering and a minor in environmental engineering. She is an active member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and a lifelong learner who continually looks for new ways to help people live greener lives. She currently is pursuing 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training to become certified in Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response.
When she is not working, Megan enjoys world travel, yoga, hiking, and dogs. She volunteers with Pawsitive Perspectives Assistance Dogs, a Minnesota-based nonprofit that trains service dogs for mobility assist and diabetic alert. She tries to be kind and pleasant to those around her, adding, “Why would you be mean if it takes the same amount of energy to be nice?”
