4th annual national event urging everyone to
“Save Money. Cut Carbon. Breathe Easier.”
In recognition of the 4th annual national Energy Efficiency Day (EE Day) on Wednesday, October 2, 2019, Energy Insight, Inc., is joining regional and national organizations, businesses, utilities, universities, and individuals in promoting energy efficiency – the cheapest, quickest way to meet our energy needs, cut utility bills, and reduce pollution.
Energy efficiency is also an economic engine, with a U.S. workforce of more than 2.3 million. Ranging from professional services to manufacturing and construction, these good jobs are local and cannot be outsourced.
“Energy Insight is proud to employ a team of talented energy engineers, energy analysts, project managers, and support personnel in the field of energy efficiency,” said Energy Insight Vice President Matt Haley. “These jobs contribute to a vital economy while helping utilities and business customers meet their own energy efficiency goals.”
Smarter energy use means we don’t have to generate as much power to meet our needs. Many people don’t realize that Energy Insight has already made significant, forward-thinking investments in energy savings in its own facilities. Its Chanhassen, Minn., headquarters is ENERGY STAR certified, signifying that it meets the stringent energy efficiency performance levels set by the United State Environmental Protection Agency.
Reducing the energy used by manufacturers, homes, and businesses benefits everyone. That is why Energy Insight is proud to join this national movement to celebrate Energy Efficiency Day 2019. Join the Twitter conversation using #EEDay2019.
